If you are reading this letter then you can rest assure that I do know how you feel!

I can say this with absolute certainty because I was once exactly where you are at this very moment.

Let me pause here for a second to draw a mental picture, if you will, and to also ask you to recall if you
ever remember looking at a T-shirt or poster that showed a man afloat in an ocean miles from nowhere
wearing only a wooden barrel in front of a buoy that held a sign board that depicted a map.

This map revealed to the barrel owner the point in space and time that he occupied at that moment.  

It very plainly showed a vast expanse of ocean with two continents on it.

These two land masses were separated from each other by thousands of miles of open water, and in the
middle of this great divide was a spot marked by an (X) with the words “YOU ARE HERE” set in bold
type directly over the (X).

Now at that moment, there is likely one of two thoughts that would be running through a persons
head, #1 Man am I screwed?, or #2 Great!!  

Thank God, someone else has obviously been here before me and if he or she has made it, than I can
too, so which way do I want to go?

Now, exactly which thought would be running through that person’s mind at that moment would
greatly depend on two things:  his or her emotional state and the ability to control their emotions with
their intellect.

This process of learning to use ones intellect to control ones emotions is a useful tool both in life and
recovery.

It is paramount to your success and prosperity.

All of this was said to bring you to this point.

You are not all unlike the man in the barrel, but a T-shirt and that on that shirt is also an (X).

Directly over it, it also says you are here, and here you are indeed, and not all unlike the buoy set before
that man in the ocean that held information you now have your own buoy.

That buoy is My House.

It holds a mass amount of information if you will, for we are great in number and stand not alone, and
you not need stand alone any longer, nor should you ever feel that darkened hollow sense of
nothingness or uselessness again.

Now you are here and (X) does mark the spot it specifies the beginning of your new life.
